Saturday brings the heat as Burnley take on Fulham at 5:30pm, the perfect way to launch a huge evening of football. The energy cranks up even further at 8pm when Arsenal and Wolves collide under the lights for a prime time showdown ⚽🔥 Sunday is packed from the start with four massive kick offs at 2pm. Crystal Palace face Man City, Forest go up against Spurs, Sunderland meet Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear Derby, and West Ham take on Villa in a clash full of stakes. The weekend reaches its finale at 4:30pm as Brentford and Leeds look to steal the spotlight and close out an incredible run of action. A full weekend of football and must-watch drama. 🦊❤️ A Little Update From Your Fox & Hounds Family ❤️🦊 This isn’t a post we wanted to write, but it’s one we’ve had to. Like most small, local pubs right now, we’re feeling the pinch — and honestly, this has been the quietest we have ever been. The rising cost of absolutely everything hasn’t just hit households… it’s hit us too. The kitchen, as well as the pub itself, has been struggling. Stock prices are higher than ever, footfall is lower than ever, and we simply can’t afford to keep the kitchen running at a huge loss. As much as we LOVE feeding you all, we’ve had to make the really tough decision to pause our kitchen service. But here’s what is still happening ⬇️ 🍽 Sunday Dinners every week, 12–6pm. 🎅 Event Catering – including Breakfast with Santa and more. ✨ Occasional Specials Nights when possible. 🍱 Buffets for parties, functions & private bookings. We want to be completely honest: this is a temporary sacrifice to keep the pub itself strong and open. We’re hoping for a miracle (or at least a better 2025!) so we can reassess in the new year. And the truth is — you’ve heard it a million times but it has never been more real — if you don’t use your local pub, you lose it. We’ve all seen so many beloved pubs close recently… and if things carry on the way they are, we could easily be next. That is the last thing we want. This place means everything to us, and to so many of you. Thank you for understanding, thank you for supporting us, and thank you for keeping this little community hub going during the hardest times our industry has ever known. 🧡 Your Fox & Hounds Team 🦊
