One of them days… 🥵🤦🏼‍♀️ The plan was simple: nip to the wholesalers this morning and restock kitchen after a mental few days in the kitchen with this heatwave. But the universe said NOPE. Car clutch has gone. Car’s now abandoned. Walkies to a dog is like saying “pub?” to a human… so why not do both? 🐾🍻 Here at The Fox & Hounds, we’re proud to be dog-friendly and dog-obsessed—with wagging tails, muddy paws, and happy woofs always welcome. 🐶💚 On warmer days, you’ll find fresh water bowls dotted around and topped up regularly 💦 and treats behind the bar for the extra good boys and girls (we’re talking about the dogs… but if you sit, stay, and behave, you never know 😏). 🦴 DID YOU KNOW? 💡 Our pub pup Copper the fox red lab is named after the loyal dog in The Fox and the Hound—iconic, eh? He’s just 18 months old, full of energy, and fiercely protective of his home. To keep things calm and safe for everyone—dogs and humans alike—we kindly ask that: 🔗 All dogs stay on leads at all times 💩 You clean up after your pups (we’ve got bins and bags if needed!) There was a recent incident involving some off-lead dogs and a rather unpleasant surprise in the beer garden—Copper was distressed, and so were our flip-flops. ⚠️ Anyone choosing to ignore these simple rules will be asked to leave.
